  Time Limit
Posted by: david - 01-05-2014, 01:44 AM - Forum: Urgency - No Replies

You can create urgency by introducing a time limit.

"Today and today only or you have missed the opportunity for ever".

But of course… It's up to you… (to decide to be dumb and poor!).
A deadline forces you to make a fast decision without rational thinking and it does not leave you a chance to really feel if your true needs are being met here!

Some successful people are able to make fast decisions but most people are not in that kind of shape and they make impulse purchases.

Urgency can also be introduced by raising the price, either slowly over time or suddenly on an announced date (often tomorrow!)

  Necessity
Posted by: david - 01-05-2014, 01:31 AM - Forum: Necessity - No Replies

This is one of the dirty tricks that I personally don't want to use. I prefer to make people happy instead of scaring them!

You can see statements like these all over the net and in most of the salesletters you sign up for:

"1000's of people have already bought this product, they have huge success
and they make 1000's of dollars every day"! (in other words: You can't live without this! If you don't but you are an outsider that does not belong to the tribe/succes team!)

This is provoking your fear of death by being banned from the tribe! In other words – Your subconsciuos mind tells yo that you have to buy this product to survive!

In ancient times when people lived in tribes on the savannah it meant death if we were outside the tribe. Our chances of survival increased dramatically if we were part of a group that worked together.

What do you prefer to use?
Posted by: Brad123 - 01-02-2014, 12:08 AM - Forum: Graphics - Replies (4)

What is your preferred graphics software which you use - Photoshop or Gimp?

Overall, I prefer Photoshop as it offers much easier ways of creating logo's and banners. Sadly I find Gimp way too complicated and complex to use.

I have been getting this message from WordPress a lot lately and one way to deal with it is to add this to your .htaccess file:

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{DOCUMENT_ROOT}%{REQUEST_URI} !-f
RewriteRule ^.+\.php$ /bogusfile
