  Using social media for kickstarter
Posted by: Trent - 02-07-2014, 05:07 PM - Forum: General Social Media - Replies (1)

I have been thinking of getting a kickstarter proyect started and I will use social media to get people to see it. I think Facebook, twitter and Google plus will be enough.

What other platforms would you use?

  Internet censorship
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:29 PM - Forum: Internet related - Replies (6)

This has been coming up in the news as of late and I was wondering what you guys thought about internet censorship? I know for one, that it'll be a really bad thing for the internet and will only hurt the many site owners out there. I want to know what you'd do if the internet were to ever get censored.

  Show you care
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:23 PM - Forum: Motivation - Replies (2)

One thing I have always told someone who does anything where he/she works for someone, is to show that you care. Showing someone you're there to just get paid, is going to just be an awful way of doing things. Showing the customer you care is one way of showing motivation.

How do you feel about this?

  Beautiful people help
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:22 PM - Forum: Attraction - Replies (5)

Now, before you say that's rude, or this doesn't fit, let me explain first. I mean no offense to anyone and I'm going to explain what I mean. First of all, attraction can go anyway, and many people find it appealing when a beautiful person graces a site, could be any site. It attracts users because they're attracted to the person.

I know this is kind of rude, because it's saying that people don't like sites with unappealing people. Well, I know how that sounds, but that's the sad truth.

Anyways, would you put a good looking person on your site to increase potential traffic? Do you find it morally wrong? Discuss.

  The use of social media
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:14 PM - Forum: Engagement - Replies (2)

I believe the best engagement you can have, is with your audience, and the best way of getting into contact with your audience is by social media. Would you agree or disagree? You could post your social media links on your site and reply to as many users as you want, this will show you're engaging your fans/followers.

What do you think?

  Such things as bad testimonials?
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:12 PM - Forum: Testimonials - No Replies

Okay, would you say there's such a thing as bad testimonials? Before you answer, hear me out. Now I know some testimonials aren't of quality, ones by people with bad grammar and punctuation, would you put the ones with the better grammar and punctuation?

I know this is kind of picking favorites in a way, but would you do it?

  Your best testimonials
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:10 PM - Forum: Testimonials - No Replies

What are your best testimonials/reviews/feedback that you got on your site, business, product, etc? I wont be running a site where testimonials will be shown, as I wont be providing anything aside from content to see and read.

Anyways, what would you say?

  How authoritative would you be?
Posted by: Davey - 02-07-2014, 04:09 PM - Forum: Authority - Replies (2)

Say you run a forum, and on that forum and guy has been spamming for weeks. What do you do?

This is what I'd do. If he was caught spamming, I would warn him, if he continues, I'll give him a final warning. If he continues on, I'll ban him for 3 days. And I'm sure you see where I'll go from there.

I know giving a lot of chances isn't ideal to some, but I figure the banned will get the point eventually.

What would you do?
